Uplands Cheese
Uplands Cheese, a dairy farm located in the Driftless region of Wisconsin, produces the renowned Pleasant Ridge Reserve cheese. Named after the land on which the farm sits, this exceptional cheese is made in the tradition of Alpine varieties like Gruyere, but with a unique twist. It is only produced from May through October, when their cows graze on fresh pasture. This grass-fed, raw milk creates a sweet and complex flavor profile that can’t be replicated. With a rich, salty taste and a long, fruity finish, Pleasant Ridge Reserve is the most-awarded cheese in American history, having won both the American Cheese Society’s Best of Show and the US Cheese Championships.
You can find Pleasant Ridge Reserve on our Cheese & Charcuterie Board at The Cellar Door.
