Seedling Farms

Located in South Haven, Michigan, Seedling Farms is an environmentally certified and award-winning fruit orchard founded by former restaurant professional Peter Klein. Driven by his passion for high-quality produce, Peter purchased an existing 81-acre farm and began growing over 75 varieties of fruit, from classic apples and peaches to unique gooseberries and paw paws. Seedling Farms is committed to “the science of sweetness,” using a refractometer to measure the Brix scale (a measure of sugar content) to ensure every piece of fruit is harvested at the peak of flavor. This dedication to perfect fruit has made them a favorite among local chefs.
