Tyler Winery

Justin Willet started the estate with a few barrels in the cellar in 2005. Nineteen years later, Willet has established himself and his wines at Tyler Winery as leaders in California’s Santa Rita Hills.

Nestled in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation, Tyler winery’s vineyards are known for their access to ocean breezes, marine sediment, and limestone terroir. On their 28-acre Estate Vineyard, the winery grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. Since the winery’s inception, Tyler has been committed to modernistic thinking and a classic approach to winemaking. Forever focused on educating themselves on their young vineyards, their team emphasizes the individuality of their sites in every single Tyler Winery bottle.

Tyler Winery operates on the idea that winemaking starts in the vineyard. They grow their grapes organically, handpick them at night, and sort them by hand. After a year in their barrels, the wines are racked, blended, and placed back in the barrels for a few more months before they are bottled.
