Ashes and Diamonds Winery

This March, experience the Ashes and Diamonds Winery at The Cellar Door.

Paying homage to the California of the ’60s and ’70s, Ashes and Diamonds brings a mid-century modern eye, essence, and approach to its wine production.

Located in what’s described as the “gateway to Napa Valley,” on the Southern stretch of Route 29 and launched in 2017, Ashes and Diamonds is led by owner and proprietor Kashy Khaledi. With a dynamic team of winemakers including Steve Matthiasson, Diana Snowden Seysses, and Michael Cruse, Ashes and Diamonds has set out to bring the optimistic essence of old school California to every one of their wines.

Growing their grapes on seven vineyards, the team utilizes the older vines, some more than 30 and 40 years old. Their collective and individual passion for viticulture and terroir transparency proves that “light-handed winemaking” not only results in a quality bottle but one that can curate a feeling with every sip.
